HOLIDAY COURSES
We run 4 and 5-day holiday courses during most school breaks. Each course offers age-appropriate football and multi-sports for boys and girls aged 4 to 14 years, with different themes and competitions throughout the week. Delivered by our team of highly qualified F.A.-licensed coaches, with Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance, and holding current F.A., enhanced DBS, Safeguarding and Emergency Aid certifications.
Our courses are usually held at local schools, which offers a safe place for children to enjoy all the games, and an environment that many of them will be familiar with.
Football groups spend the first morning with fun games to get to know their Coach and the other children in the group, then fun matches and small sided games. For the remaining days, we deliver coached topics and challenges in the mornings and matches and tournaments in the afternoons. On the final day, players do a skills zone in teams and we welcome families to come and join their children for lunch, then stay and cheer them on in the tournaments. At the final presentation, every child will be presented with a Prostars medal and, if they win their age-appropriate tournament, a small trophy.
Multi-sport groups spend the first morning playing a couple of team sports to get to know everyone and then enjoy free time to explore all the different sports such as basketball, tennis, cricket, hockey, softball/rounders, volleyball, athletics and much more. For the remaining days, we spend the first hour practising for the Silly Olympics on the Friday, followed by coaching and instruction in different sports. On the final day, the morning is spent playing various sports, while practice is kept for the the afternoon. Parents again are invited to attend sessions during lunchtime, to stay on for our fun-filled and thrill-a-minute Silly Olympics and presentations.
